I dont understand the structure of the bottom line answer given. The answer i came up with is x <12.
The actual problem is 9x <108.

If the entry is "9x<108", then the final answer "x<12" is correct since 108/9=12. Click on the 'Options' tab and beginning a solution with "a few steps" can be easier to review but sometimes the additional solution steps is extremely helpful.
The URL in your inquiry indicates "12x>48", so that would resolve to "x>4" since 48/12=4.
