I know you can't take the square root of 42. I think, I just fiqured out why? I realize you have to combine the same root to make 2 in front of the square rooted number :)

The "square root of 21" contains primes and can not be simply added together inside the radical. 

Clicking on the 'Options' tab allows you to compare "integer" compared to "real numbers".  When you enter "square root of 42" using 'real numbers' you will notice that the decimal answer is not equivalent to the sum of "square root of 21". 

It is also use to click on a particular solution in order to review the logic which is employed.
