It would be helpful to see what exactly is being identified as incorrect... so exactly what you are showing the instructor and exactly what the instructor is identifying (or is the instructor simply stating that the solution is incorrect).  Please notice that the initial solution is then checked for validity, so perhaps you are reporting the initial solution set?
