I routinely encourage users to choose 'a few steps' (use the 'Options' tab to control the number of solution steps), but in this particular inquiry choosing 'a lot of steps' can actually be helpful.  In fewer solution steps two things are happening: both sides are multiplied by 20 and both sides have -1 added to both sides.  That simplification of the numeric terms puts all the numeric information on the right side of the equation, leaving '3x' on the left side and then a division by '3' on both sides will leave 'x' by itself for a numeric solution.
