for this equation is it another form to solve it? i don't get same answer . How or why is it -6

I'm not sure "2x=3" comes from, but if it is an answer from the textbook then it is incorrect [and that is rather common]. The solution below shows x=-6 along with some notes. It is also best to begin with 'a few steps' (select through the 'Options' button) and then only increase the number of steps as they are useful.
