If I am correctly understanding your inquiry, you want the answer x=-(77/30) to be given as a decimal number rather than an integer fraction.  Since the equation contains decimal numbers (2.5, 1.75) then it is best to click on the 'Options' tab and change the 'Calculating using:' selection from integer to 'real numbers'.  The answer is then seen to be approximately -2.6
