Hello, I dont understand why i need to combine the signs of the fraction. Can you please tell me why? I thought i need to multiplicate each term:
7x*2b; 7x*3 and -y*2b; -y*3 to dissolve the cling (sorry englisch isnt my native language I hope you will understand) I dont understand why the fraction becomes negative.

We want to simplify the fraction, cancel out the common factors.
Since, -2b-3 = (-1)(2b + 3), we pull (-1) in front of the fraction:
