Hello, I really can not understand the solution

The question is find area of a right angle triangle with side -5, 12, 13 cm

Answer provided by our tutors

To find the area you need to use Heron's formula:

So, in your case:

a = 5 cm

b = 12 cm

c = 13 cm

s = (5 + 12 + 13)/2

s = 15

Now, lets plug in the values in the formula for area and use the solver to calculate.
