How do I get from the second to the last step to the last step?

Answer provided by our tutors

first, identify the squared terms, (a^2, 4b^2 and 36) which are (a, 2b and 6)

then looking for doubled 'like terms' (-2ab, 12b and -6a)

so '-a' will be the negated term for (2b-a+6)^2
