How do I graph this and how do I find slope. I am confused on both instances and tried to read about both but don't get it.
thank you ahead of time, have to take a quiz and just keep getting it wrong.

It is easy once the equations are solved for y -- see the very bottom of the solution process:
slopes are the fractions multiplying 'x'.
In order to draw the lines choose some very simple values for x, substitute and evaluate.
For example, when x=0 (first equation), y=-1
if x=4 then y=-3
Two points area enough to draw the line.
You repeat the process for the second equation
