How do I type 5 and a half?Whevnever I type 5 and a half the calculator puts 5 times a half.

To enter a mixed number, enclose it in parentheses as an addition, as in "(5+1/2)". Mixed numbers may be entered in directly through Algebrator but that is not supported on doyourmath.com.
