How do you get the value for x?
Answer provided by our tutors
The graph for the linear equation "y=x+2" is a straight line.
To draw the graph, you just need 2 points.
You can take arbitrary values for "x" to find "y" and then draw the line.
For example, for x = 0 we have
y = 0 + 2
y = 2
So, one point is (0, 2)
For x = 1 we have
y = 1 + 2
y = 3
Another point is (1, 3)
