For the inequality, any point which lies within the shaded area is a valid point.  Since the inequality uses equality, "=", any point along the line is also a valid point.  So there are an infinite number of valid points, such as (0,0), (0,3), (-2,-2), etc.  Any point outside of the shaded region, such as (3,0), (-4,-4), etc., are not valid points.
