First we perform all the operations to transform

-3(x+5)=5x-7(2x+5)

to

-3x - 15 = 5x - 14x - 35

-3x - 15 = -9x - 35

Then we move '-9x' to the right side and '-15' to the left side:

-3x + 9x = -35 + 15

6x = -20

Then we divide both sided by '6':

x = -20/6

x = - 10/3

x = -3 1/3
