It is a best practice to begin a solution through the 'Options' tab and select 'a few steps' as the starting point. Increasing the number of steps can be useful or create confusion.
This particular problem will be directed to the developer because the simplification is not correctly terminating. Shown below is the solution obtained by using 'a few steps':
