I want to know how to solve this equation using the square root property. Please help me

To solve an equation by using the square root property, you will first isolate the term that contains the squared variable and in your case the variable is already isolated on the left hand side of the equation:

Then, take the square root of both sides and solve for the variable.

Note that there are two roots for every square root: one positive and one negative. 

That is why there are two solutions:
