Is this considered what would written if the foil method is to be utilized? And do I use real or whole numbers in the drop box?

I see the following in your submission: "(4x=5)(4x-5)", hence the equal symbol is in error. I suspect that the correct entry is "(4x-5)(4x-5)" and should be entered under the tab titled 'Factor'.
FOIL is simply a mnemonic designed to aid in the multiplication of monomials and has no real mathematical basis. During the multiplication of monomials, what is taking place correlates to the "distributive property", not anything named FOIL.
