Sometime it helps to go to 'Options' and select Show: a lot of steps'. This way you will get more step by step solution.

On the same screen, you can select integer or real arithmetics to be used during the solution process (e.g., x=1/2 vs. x=0.5). The equation you have added to solve looks bit strange, are you using 'x' as a symbol for multiplication?

You should not use 'x' as a symbol for multiplication. For multiplication use '*'.
