The forward slash symbol, '/', is best used for division.  The attached example shows how parentheses can be used to group multiple terms to identify the numerator or the denominator. 

If your problem contains no equals sign and you wish to simply an expression then please select one of the tabs for 'Simplify', 'Expand' or 'Factor'. If your problem contains an equals sign then please select the tab for 'Solve' or 'Graph'.  I do notice, however, that the link provided in your inquiry shows an incomplete equation:

since no variable exists in the equation.  So I just modified that equation into a simplification expression which uses division.
