Thanks for the URL, I notice that the simplification was solved using Real Decimals rather than Integers, hence the simplification process can be quite different. The 'Options' tab allows you to select "Reals" or "Integers" and also control how many solution steps are presented.
Attached below is the example using calculations with Integers.
