Why is not factored
Answer provided by our tutors
x^2 + 64 contains two squared values, 'x' and '8' but that expression can not be factored. Suppose that (x+8)^2 was going to be the factored value then expand that expression and you will find "x^2 + 16x + 64" rather than a simple "x^2 + 64".
